| Hey Max, I came across this and was wondering if any of it was true. If so, How great it would be to see you back on a GP bike. Also, I know that you said that you were happy in WSBK but would you entertain coming back as a wild card? please read: La Desmosedici GP8 riesce per il momento a rendere al massimo soltanto con Casey Stoner, mentre tutti gli altri tre piloti che la guidano (Melandri, Elias, Guintoli) non riescono a “capirla”. Per questo motivo, non riuscendo a trovare una soluzione a questi problemi, la Ducati sta pensando di rivolgersi a due tester molto speciali: Troy Bayliss e Max Biaggi. L’australiano e il romano, piloti della Casa di Borgo Panigale nel Mondiale Superbike, ma con una grande esperienza di MotoGP alle spalle, potrebbero infatti aiutare i tecnici delle Rosse fornendo indicazioni utili per capire ill motivo per il quale la GP8 è una moto apparentemente così “elitaria”. “Tre piloti su quattro hanno difficoltà ad andare forte sulla Desmosedici – ha affermato Livio Suppo, responsabile del progetto MotoGP Ducati – Per provare a migliorare questa situazione dovremmo fare dei test, ma su circuiti del Mondiale, dato che farli su circuiti dove poi non si corre non solo è pericoloso ma anche inutile. Per questo motivo, dato che il regolamento non consente di utilizzare i piloti iscritti al campionato, potremmo utilizzare due piloti esperti che abbiamo già in casa, come Bayliss e Biaggi. Non c’è ancora nulla di definito in quanto a data, luogo, eccetera, ma saremmo stupidi a non giocarci una carta così”. |
